The European Return of the New York Marathon The men’s title of the New York Marathon returns to Europe. The first to cross the finish line was Abdi Nageeye, a Somali athlete naturalized in the Netherlands aged 35, who completed the race in 2 hours, 7 minutes and 39 seconds.
