A 13-year-old girl has been attacked with a knife, prompting the arrest of six teenagers on charges related to attempted murder.
A tragic accident has resulted in the deaths of two women and left two men hospitalized, one of whom is in critical condition. The incident occurred around 1:40 PM GMT on Saturday on the A4050 road in Barry, located in the Vale of Glamorgan. As a consequence of the crash, authorities have closed the road from the junction at Port Road East to Barry Dock Link Road, extending to Pugh’s Garden Centre.
South Wales Police have reported that the two women were pronounced dead at the scene, while the two men are currently receiving medical care at a hospital. The police indicated that the road will remain shut down for investigation purposes until at least 2:00 AM on Sunday, urging drivers to steer clear of the affected area.
Sgt Craig Wood expressed condolences, stating that their thoughts are with the families of the deceased women. He emphasized that they are in the initial stages of their investigation and are working to gather all pertinent details surrounding this unfortunate event.
