The BBC is set to broadcast 21 live matches from the Women’s Super League (WSL) each season starting in 2025-26, following a newly signed five-year agreement that extends until 2030. This deal will feature 14 matches exclusively on BBC television, while an additional seven will be available across BBC iPlayer and various digital platforms. Fans can also tune in to selected games on BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Sounds, and local BBC radio stations.
In addition to live match coverage, fans can access goals and highlight clips for all fixtures through the BBC Sport website, app, and social media channels. This agreement ensures that WSL matches will still be available on Sky Sports.
Alex Kay-Jelski, the director of BBC Sport, expressed excitement about the continuing growth of the WSL and highlighted the importance of providing extensive coverage to audiences as part of their free-to-air broadcasting portfolio.
