Two new legal actions have been initiated against Sean “Diddy” Combs, with allegations of sexual assault being leveled against the prominent music figure. These lawsuits, filed in New York, involve claims made by male individuals who were minors at the time of the purported incidents. One plaintiff asserts he was only 10 years old during the alleged assault, while another claims he was assaulted as a teenager while auditioning for the MTV reality series “Making the Band,” which was produced by Combs.

In response to these allegations, representatives for Combs stated that he has never engaged in sexual assault or trafficking of any kind, regardless of the victim’s age. This ongoing situation has seen Combs facing an increasing number of legal challenges; over two dozen lawsuits have emerged recently, including accusations of rape, drugging, assaults on minors, intimidation, and sexual extortion. Furthermore, he is up against federal charges related to a supposed sex trafficking and racketeering scheme, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

The two lawsuits filed recently were brought forth by attorney Tony Buzbee, who claims to represent over 100 alleged victims and intends to file numerous additional lawsuits against Combs in the near future. The first lawsuit is filed anonymously and describes an incident from 2005 when the plaintiff was just 10 years old and aspiring to be an actor and rapper. To support his ambitions, his parents sought advice from an industry consultant who arranged a trip to New York for meetings with music executives. During this trip, the consultant set up an “audition” with Combs.

According to the lawsuit, the consultant brought the boy to Combs’ hotel room, leaving him alone with the rapper. The young boy performed several rap songs for Combs, who allegedly expressed belief in his potential stardom. The complaint states that during their meeting, Combs inquired about the boy’s dedication to his dreams; when asked how far he would go to achieve them, the boy replied he would “do anything.”

The situation escalated when a third person provided the boy with a soda that made him feel disoriented. Believing it was excitement about meeting Combs, he did not realize something was amiss until Combs allegedly began to undress and demanded sexual acts. When the boy resisted, it is reported that an assault occurred, leaving him unconscious and waking up in pain with his clothing askew. The lawsuit claims that Combs threatened harm to the boy’s family if he spoke out.

In a second lawsuit from 2008, another unnamed male alleges that at age 17 during an audition for “Making the Band,” he was subjected to sexual coercion by Combs and his bodyguard. After being interrogated about handling sexual pressure situations during auditions, he alleges that they forced him into sexual acts.

Currently held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center following federal charges in September, Combs has been denied bail and will remain incarcerated until his trial set for May. His legal team maintains confidence in both their case and the judicial system amid these serious allegations. If convicted of racketeering charges against him, he could face a life sentence.
