In response to statements by Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini regarding a possible “wildcat strike,” Landini clarified that all necessary procedures had been respected for the strike to be called. He also confirmed the exclusion of the railway sector from the mobilization in order to respect the rules and guarantee certain services. With rising social tensions over wages and working conditions, the future seems uncertain.
