A new chapter is added to the complex case of sexual violence involving Leonardo Apache La Russa, son of the president of the Senate, and his friend DJ Tommaso Gilardoni. The young woman who reported the facts has requested, through her lawyer, to acquire the telephone records of Enrico Pazzali, self-suspended president of Fondazione Fiera Milano and currently under investigation for alleged dossiers.
Lawyer Stefano Benvenuto has filed a request with the Milan prosecutor’s office to obtain information on contacts between Pazzali and La Russa. This interest emerged in the context of the investigation into cyber-spies, where it is alleged that Pazzali instructed members of his company, Equalize, to conduct research on the president of the Senate and his family.
According to the investigations, Pazzali allegedly asked his collaborators for information on Leonardo La Russa at a critical moment: May 19, 2023, the day on which the young woman allegedly suffered abuse. On the night between May 18 and 19, the girl met Leonardo in a nightclub in Milan. When she woke up at the La Russa family home, she remembered nothing of the incident and believed she had been abused. After consulting a clinic for tests the following day, she filed a complaint about a month later.
The authorities are now evaluating the request presented by the lawyer Benvenuto. The analysis of the telephone records could reveal whether there were contacts between Pazzali and La Russa on the crucial day of the searches. The investigations are coordinated by the addition Letizia Mannella and the prosecutor Rosaria Stagnaro. Currently, they are also waiting for the filing of new computer analyses on the phones involved in the case. A key element to clarify will be whether the young woman was capable of expressing consent at the time of the events. The girl had consumed alcohol and drugs, which makes the outcome of the toxicological and forensic medical consultations fundamental to determining her decision-making capacity.
