Weather Changes Coming: Goodbye to Mild Temperatures
The mild temperatures that have characterized the last few weeks are about to vanish. According to the forecasts of meteorologist Mattia Gussoni, of the site www.iLMeteo.it, a drastic change is expected starting from Tuesday, November 12, with an increase in adverse weather phenomena that will include rain, wind and snow.
A Weekend of Transition
The weekend will still feature pleasant and partly sunny conditions. Maximum temperatures could reach 25 degrees in Sardinia and Sicily, 23 degrees in Reggio Calabria and Taranto, and 21 degrees in Rome and Naples. However, the first signs of a change are already visible in the Po Valley, where night fog and scattered rain are expected in Sardinia, Sicily and along the Tyrrhenian coast.
In this context, Monday will bring a slight drop in temperatures, accompanied by moderate easterly winds and further precipitation in the South.
The Arrival of Bad Weather
Tuesday will mark a significant turning point with a drop in maximum temperatures of 7-8 degrees, while snowfall could appear above 1,400 meters in the Alps and Apennines. In addition, an intensification of winds and the formation of two low pressure minimums are expected: one in the South and one in the North.
The weather situation will continue to deteriorate on Wednesday and Thursday. Strong winds, rain and snowfall up to 1,200 meters will affect the northern regions, with the possibility that the two low pressure centers will join over the Central Tyrrhenian Sea. This could generate significant wind storms accompanied by significant precipitation.
A Look to the Future
With the arrival of winter, the transition to colder weather is inevitable. Experts warn that these events may not be isolated but part of a broader trend that will characterize the current season. It will be essential to monitor the updates to adequately prepare for the upcoming changes in the Italian meteorological landscape.
