Innovation and Design: Versatility in Modern Environments
Multifunctional Furniture
Everything is in motion and nothing is only what it seems. For example, the mirror on the wardrobe door transforms into a TV without compromising the aesthetics of the piece of furniture. The backrests of the sofas, separated from the structure, are easy to move, allowing you to place yourself wherever you want. Each piece of furniture is a surprise, like the living room that becomes a sleeping area thanks to wall solutions that lower a double bed with a quality mattress. This goes beyond the traditional concept of a “sofa bed”, offering comfort, functionality and elegance.
Space Renovation
The market requires renovated interior and exterior spaces, capable of communicating with each other. Modern homes, especially the smaller ones, require versatility to adapt to different needs throughout the day. Quality craftsmanship, innovation and style are the key words of the proposals presented at Moacasa 2024 at the Fiera di Roma, where the most significant brands of Made in Italy show their solutions.
Innovations in the Living Area
One of the most surprising innovations in the living area is represented by tables that go beyond their convivial function. These tables steal space from the kitchen, including digital functions such as a hob integrated into the ceramic top. Once the pots are removed, the top becomes cold again, ensuring safety for young and old.
Eco-sustainable materials
The materials used are cutting-edge and environmentally friendly. The designers mix different types of elements with various consistencies; wood is one of the protagonists, combined with aluminum, wrought iron and stainless steel. Among the green ideas, the first memory foam mattress obtained from recycled PET and furniture made with wood from “urban forests” stand out. This virtuous process recovers post-consumer wood from old furniture or pallets to create ecological panels.
In addition, some vintage items are transformed into new design items: an old camera can become a lamp, or an audio amplifier made of vacuum tubes from the 50s can showcase a unique design in a gold frame.
The end result is emotional amplifiers with thermionic valves that light up and change color, fusing design and technology in a single object capable of playing music from analog and digital sources.
