Qualifying for the Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix, scheduled for 7pm Italian time, has been postponed due to heavy rain at the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo. No new timetable for the start of qualifying has been given at this time. Meanwhile, McLaren’s Lando Norris triumphed in the Sprint race of the Brazilian GP. His teammate Oscar Piastri took second place, while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished third. However, Verstappen received a five-second penalty for violating the protocol during the virtual safety car, which dropped him to fourth place, passed by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. Carlos Sainz finished the race in fifth place.
