Rome citizens and tourists experienced inconveniences on Monday, October 28, due to the local public transport strike, called by Usb lavoro privato and Orsa.
The match between Roma and Torino ended with a score of 0-0, on the tenth day of the championship. The eve of the match saw Roma facing a difficult period, while the former Granata coach Juric finds himself having to defend his position against his former team. Paolo Vanoli, current Torino coach, expressed caution towards the Giallorossi and his predecessor. “Roma was built to achieve significant goals and has players capable of changing the outcome of the match - observes Vanoli - Juric has done an excellent job here at Torino; if I can’t get better results, it means he has done well. We must take to the field with great personality and understand the emotional significance of the match”.
After a long period without a win, Torino returned to success by beating Como. “I want to see the same determination and intent to keep a clean sheet,” says Vanoli ahead of the trip to the capital. With Zapata’s departure, the coach is looking for new tactical solutions: “Without our strongest striker, it’s not easy for anyone.”
The Granata coach has Sosa back at his disposal but does not hide his disappointment regarding the recent evaluations made by the club: “We have made some errors in our evaluations; we need more effort from everyone - he declared in a press conference - To progress as a team, every sector must improve: from the doctors to the agronomist, up to me.” Vanoli highlights the importance of pursuing concrete objectives to reach more ambitious goals: “To reach the final objective, we must first achieve small goals such as three points in every match, then 40 to guarantee our safety and finally aim for Europe: this is our dream”.
Adams hasn’t scored in three consecutive games, but Vanoli seems intent on confirming him alongside Sanabria: “I’ve never seen a Scottish player fear pressure - he says about his client - he’s having an excellent season and I’m sure he’ll be able to find the goal”. Finally, Vanoli expresses his condolences for the tragic death of Turin skier Matilde Lorenzi on the slopes of Val Senales: “As a sportsman and a parent, these things are deeply affecting. On behalf of the staff and the club, we want to express our closeness to the family”.
