Events - In collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo
From the automotive industry to agri-food, to design: these are the sectors represented by the ten foreign entrepreneurial excellences that took part in the fifteenth stage of “imprese vincenti”, an initiative of Intesa Sanpaolo aimed at valorizing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that stand out for their excellence.
This fifth edition introduced for the first time a meeting dedicated to the best companies from Eastern Europe, which have distinguished themselves for their ability to innovate and grow. The ten foreign companies, characterized by expansion strategies in line with ESG criteria, shared in Milan their business stories and the strategic decisions that led them to strengthen their development path.
Intesa Sanpaolo has intensified the synergies between the International Banks and Banca dei Territori divisions, led respectively by Paola Papanicolaou and Stefano Barrese, with the aim of promoting an international supply chain capable of attracting foreign investments in Italy and further enhancing Made in Italy in the global market. The group has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the growth of Italian and foreign companies, aiming to increase their competitiveness. Launched in 2019, “imprese vincenti” has seen the self-nomination of around 14 thousand companies to date, with 4 thousand for the current edition alone. The roadshow, which began in spring and consists of 15 stages in total, will end at the beginning of 2025.
Stefano Barrese, Head of the Banca dei Territori Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, stated that in this edition the program expands the research to include the excellence of foreign SMEs capable of seizing opportunities on international markets. He emphasized how these entities share with the Italian business system the propensity to invest in innovation and sustainability.
