Following a ruling from the Court of Taranto and pending the hearing scheduled for November 5, Groenlandia and Disney announce that the title of the series will change to ‘This Is Not Hollywood’, which will be available in Italy starting October 30 on Disney+. This information was disclosed through an official note.
The series, directed by Pippo Mezzapesa, who collaborated on the screenplay together with Antonella W. Gaeta, Davide Serino, Carmine Gazzanni and Flavia Piccinni, is produced by Matteo Rovere under the Groenlandia label. ‘Qui non è Hollywood’ features actors such as Vanessa Scalera, who plays Cosima Misseri, Paolo De Vita in the role of Michele Misseri, Giulia Perulli as Sabrina Misseri, Imma Villa in the role of Concetta Serrano and Federica Pala as Sarah Scazzi. In addition, Anna Ferzetti plays the journalist Daniela, Giancarlo Commare is Ivano and Antonio Gerardi plays the role of Marshal Persichella.
The story is inspired by the book ‘Sarah la ragazza di Avetrana’, written by Carmine Gazzanni and Flavia Piccinni, published by Fandango Libri. The soundtrack of the series includes the song ‘La Banalità del Male’, composed by Marracash, which serves as the final song. This piece of music is the result of the collaboration between Marracash and the producer Marz.
The note also highlights the importance of an advanced parental control system on Disney+, to ensure an appropriate viewing experience for all family members. In addition to the junior mode already active on the platform, subscribers can set restrictions on content intended for a more mature audience and create PIN-protected profiles to offer greater safety to parents when viewing content.
