He added that the rejection of the leader of Italia Viva was interpreted as a rejection of the centrist part of the coalition. Former governor Giovanni Toti commented that Liguria has chosen continuity and that voters have recognized Bucci’s abilities, highlighting the successes in the reconstruction of the Morandi bridge and in the management of the Covid emergency. Toti concluded by saying that the Region is in good hands and that voters have blocked attempts to overturn the election result.
Maurizio Lupi, president of Noi Moderati, said that voters in Liguria have rewarded a concrete and active policy. He highlighted how this victory strengthens the government and the center-right majority, confirming that political battles are won through solid ideas and projects. He thanked the candidates of the “Vince Liguria” list, who contributed to making their list the second force in the Ligurian coalition. Lupi assured support to Bucci president through the regional councilors, focusing on competence and passion in the work to be done.
