This morning the lifeless body of a 61-year-old man was found near the bicycle he was riding on the Foggia-Lucera state road. Initial investigations and the conditions in which the body was found suggest that the cyclist was hit by a vehicle, which, after the accident, continued on without stopping to provide help. Some motorists, noticing the situation, immediately contacted the emergency services, but there was nothing more that could be done for the man. The Carabinieri also arrived at the scene of the accident and began the investigation into the case.
