According to Alfieri, the opposition to Renzi was interpreted as a denial of the centrist component of the coalition. He then reiterated the need to focus on the upcoming challenges in Emilia-Romagna and Umbria.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni shared her enthusiasm on social media, saying that the trust received from citizens in Liguria gives new impetus to the government and the center-right majority. She encouraged them to continue with determination to build a solid future for Italy.
Bucci expressed his intention to be a mayor close to the citizens and the territory, describing his electoral result as extraordinary, especially after a summer characterized by difficulties and resignations.
