The Milan DDA has filed an appeal with the Review Court to obtain thirteen precautionary measures in prison for as many subjects under investigation, including Carmine Gallo and Nunzio Samuele Calamucci, currently under house arrest by decision of the investigating judge. Among those under house arrest is also Enrico Pazzali, owner of Equalize, the company involved in the investigation into the alleged illegal dossiers and president of the Fondazione Fiera Milano. In fact, investigating judge Fabrizio Filice has ordered only four measures of house arrest and two interdictions out of sixteen positions analyzed, excluding any precautionary custody for Pazzali.

Copasir has requested access to the documents of the Milan investigation into the dossiers, in compliance with the confidentiality of the investigation. The documents released so far would reveal alleged illicit access to confidential intelligence information, with the indication that the group of suspects could have “high-profile support”, including that of foreign secret services. The Committee intends to clarify the links with the 007s, similarly to what was done in previous investigations such as the one in Perugia regarding access to databases by the financier Pasquale Striano.

According to estimates by the Milan DDA, the number of people potentially spied on through abusive access to databases could exceed eight hundred thousand units. Nunzio Samuele Calamucci allegedly stated that he had a “hard disk containing eight hundred thousand Sdi”, referring to the data collected by the police database.

As part of the investigation into the alleged cyber-spies network, the paper archive of Carmine Gallo, a former policeman who allegedly kept it hidden in a garage, was seized. Furthermore, as part of the same investigation, a server located in Lithuania was confiscated. This seizure was ordered by the prosecutor Francesco De Tommasi who is coordinating the investigation together with the deputy prosecutor Alessandra Dolci and the prosecutor Marcello Viola. The prosecutor’s office is evaluating the possibility of requesting legal assistance from Great Britain, where a group of hackers led by a woman was operating.

Regarding the news regarding Equalize srl, Carla Romana Raineri declared her non-involvement in the illicit activities associated with her figure through a note released by the lawyer Nicola Menardo of the Grande Stevens law firm.

The investigation file also revealed alleged dossiers on Russian citizens. Samuele Calamucci mentioned during the wiretaps a “report” on a well-known Russian oligarch and the prosecutors tried to identify this individual; among the details that emerged were references to Russian-Kazakh citizens involved in the construction of a hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo and in the management of exclusive resorts. An illicit access was also recorded relating to Vladimir Tsyganov and Oxana Bondarenko in the fashion sector.

Attilio Fontana, president of the Lombardy Region, commented on the investigation expressing surprise at the situation regarding Enrico Pazzali: "
