Nunzio Samuele Calamucci was allegedly in possession of a hard disk containing eight hundred thousand SDI, or data from the police database. In a wiretapped conversation last January with former police officer Carmine Gallo, who was also arrested, Calamucci stated: “Eight hundred thousand SDI, I have that over there.” In another conversation dating back to November 2023, Calamucci expressed concern about the need to “set aside,” or transfer information, of “six, seven million USB sticks that I have.” According to prosecutors, he had an enormous amount of data to manage, amounting to at least 15 terabytes. These details emerge from the documents of the investigation conducted by the Milan District Anti-Mafia Directorate (DDA).
