The Israeli military has asked residents of 14 villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate “immediately” for security reasons. IDF Arab spokesman Avichay Adraee said people should move north of the Awali River, warning that those near Hezbollah facilities or weapons could be putting their lives in danger.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that securing the release of the Gaza hostages would require “painful concessions,” stressing that military operations alone could not achieve the desired goals. In his commemorative speech for the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack, Gallant said that moral sacrifices were needed to bring the hostages home.

Rami Nathur from Kalanswa, suspected of carrying out a bus stop attack in Tel Aviv, was “neutralized” by armed civilians. His family disputed the attack narrative, saying he had a heart condition and was not in a physical condition to carry out an intentional attack.

Police confirmed that the truck driver responsible for the incident at the bus stop was shot by armed civilians while he was in the area. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the situation as a difficult and long existential war, pledging to continue the fight against those who threaten the lives of Israeli citizens. He also called for an investigation into the incident in the Glilot area.

Netanyahu said the attack on Iran was precise and hit specific targets related to Iran’s defense capabilities and missile production. He added that Israel will punish anyone who tries to harm the Jewish state.

The terrorist responsible for the bus stop incident was an Israeli Arab citizen living in Kalanseva. According to Magen David Adom (MDA) ambulance service reports, 35 people were hospitalized after the incident; six are in critical condition and five others are moderately injured. A spokesperson for Ichilov Hospital indicated that one of the injured is in serious danger.

Police said the truck rammed into people at the stop at high speed as they were getting off a bus. Witnesses confirmed the truck’s sudden arrival as passengers were disembarking from the bus.

More than 40 people were involved in the accident, with ten in serious condition; the truck driver died. Preliminary investigations suggest it was a premeditated attack. The truck struck at the Glilot intersection, near the headquarters of the Mossad and several Israeli intelligence units.
