More than 40 people were injured, with ten of them in critical condition, in an accident at a bus stop north of Tel Aviv, where a truck ploughed into people. The driver of the truck died. Initial investigations indicate that it was possibly an attack. The accident occurred at the Glilot intersection near Herzliya, an area that is home to the Mossad headquarters and several Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intelligence units, including Unit 8200.

Israeli media reported that it was not yet clear whether the incident was an accident or a deliberate attack. Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council will meet tomorrow at Iran’s request to discuss Israel’s recent strikes against the Persian country. According to Al Jazeera, Iran has accused Israel of violating international law and its sovereignty through missile attacks confirmed by the Israeli state. Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, described the Iranian request as a political attempt to harm Israel.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei commented on the Israeli attacks, saying they should neither be exaggerated nor downplayed. He stressed the need for Zionists to understand Iran’s power and determination, and said Iranian authorities would decide how to respond based on national interests.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also accused the United States of collaborating with Israel in the recent attacks on Iran, saying that Washington provides military and political support to the Zionist regime. Araghchi noted that without such support, Israel would not have the same influence in the region and highlighted the lack of international condemnation of Israel’s actions.

According to the Lebanese national news agency NNA, Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon have left at least six dead and several wounded in the town of Jdeideh Marjayoun. The strikes also hit Beirut, affecting areas such as Burj al-Barajneh and Haret Hreik. The IDF reported the deaths of around 40 fighters during operations in the Jabaliya refugee camp in Gaza over the past 24 hours; several Hamas-linked targets were destroyed and weapons seized.

Iranian Ambassador to the United Nations Saeed Iravani called on the UN to strongly condemn a terrorist attack in Sistan-Baluchestan that killed ten Iranian police officers. He expressed Iran’s determination to bring those responsible to justice.

Araghchi also called for a clear condemnation of the Israeli attacks by the UN and warned that Tehran reserves the legitimate right to respond to such aggression. He urged the international body to take a firm stance against the violations by the Israeli regime.
